i've really enjoyed the fact that communication has been part of the learning process this semester. the lack of the professor's physical presence lends itself to new ways of learning, and i like the fact that all of us within the studio have had to adapt and adjust to this new process of communication. while this process may not always be free of frustration, i feel that the process has become smoother. breeze seems like it could have amazing potential for our future, especially as the crit process becomes more crucial. i also found friday's studio most interesting, as jill's location in boston did not hinder her participation within the studio - fascinating!!
i feel like we've been able to grow within our studio, in terms of peer-to-peer relationships, as we conduct mini-reviews within the group and become critical of each others' work. we've had to do this to a certain extent in other semesters, but only when led or prompted by the professor.
